Day 11.11. was chosen in China as Anti-Valentine’s Day called Singles day (Guanggun Jie). It is a shopping day when mainly young Chinese people celebrate that they are single. Day 11.11. was also chosen because the number 1 symbolizes exactly one person. This day has become the largest offline and online shopping day in the world. Therefore, Aliexpress organizes a big shopping festival every year, when goods are to be cheaper by up to 70%.

3. Is it really worth buying 11.11 at Aliexpress?
At the beginning of the article we mentioned a great browser add-on AliSuperstar and AliHistory. Now let’s see how the add-on or application will help you 11.11. while shopping at Aliexpress. Sometimes sellers are not very fair and try to fool you on an artificially created discount. But using price history you will discover these products with a fictitious discount right on time. We have prepared for you two examples, when it is disadvantageous to buy and when it pays off.
A. ARTIFICIAL DISCOUNT BY THE SELLER
In first example, we found the Autum dress that seller wanted to fool us with fake discount on 11.11. The seller usually sells clothes from the picture for about $17.50 . On the price history chart below you can see that the seller increased the price to $20.11 on 20.10.2019 and increased the price again on 2.11.2019 to $20.90. But as you can see seller tell us that on 11.11 he wants to sell it for “super special price” $18.28. What a “great deal :)”. In this example, we see that it’s an artificially created discount. It will only pay off to buy this dress if you use the discount coupons on 11.11.
B. REAL DISCOUNT
Another Aliexpress seller wants to offer his customers real special prices for his products. As example, the lowest price of the sweatshirt was $20.16 . Today the price is $21.62. During the Aliexpress Shopping Festival on 11.11, the sweatshirt will sold for $17.96, which is a really big price reduction compared to the retailer’s normal prices. This we call real discount. If you additionally use discount coupons, you will save a lot of money.

As you can see, there is a large offer of items and discount coupons. From our own experience we recommend to buy 11.11. mainly because of discount coupons. And if you still have item for a real discount price verified by a price chart, than it really pays off. Moreover, playing games and collecting coins is quite fun 🙂
4. New law – abolition of the current VAT exemption in 2021
